Public PC Access Policy

 

The Library has PCs available for public use with Internet connectivity and productivity software like word processing. A patron must log on with a valid library card or guest pass in order to use these PCs.

Once logged on the Public PCs, all patrons are expected to comply with the Library’s Internet Access Policy.

It is at the Staff’s discretion on a case by case basis to grant extensions above the maximum allowed time per day.

Some terminals are designated as Express Access. The maximum time allowed at these terminals is 15 minutes with no extensions.

Present a card from the Louis Bay 2nd Library

Louis Bay 2nd Library card holders can access the computers for the maximum amount of time allowed per day

If the patron does not have a library card, he/she will not have access to the Public PCs.

Present a card from another BCCLS Library other than the Louis Bay 2nd Library

Card holders from another BCCLS library other than Hawthorne can access the computers for the maximum amount of time allowed per day.

If the patron does not have a library card, he/she will not have access to the Public PCs.

Have a library card from a library that is in New Jersey but is not the Louis Bay 2nd Library or another BCCLs library

The patron must show photo ID and will be given a guest pass that allows him/her to access the computers for a maximum of one hour per day.

If the patron does not have ID he/she will not have access to the Public PCs.

Are from out of state.
